The museum of ethnography is specifi and unusual, because its located in open air. It occupies 52 hectares of land.
On the Open Air Museum you can see 14 ethnographic zones: Kartli, Samegrelo, Adjara, Abkhazia, Svaneti, Khevsureti, Kakheti, Guria and other.
The museum presents more than 8000 exhibits brought from all over Georgia: ethnographic materials - different kinds of tools, textiles, ceramics and other. The museum provides a tranquil environment for visitors to experience Georgian folk exhibitions and festivals throughout the year.
